These purple orchid wedding invitations in a watercolor style are available from my Zazzle store. The design has beautiful soft watercolor orchids in shades of purple and as well as green stems. The corners are rounded for a soft romantic feel but you can change them to square corners if you prefer.

These wedding invitations would be ideal for a garden wedding or an exotic beach or island wedding. You could also use these invitations if you are having a purple themed wedding.

You can easily personalize these wedding invitations with your own invitation wording. The invitation size is 5×7 inches. A white envelope is included. As an extra option you can also order matching envelopes for an additional cost.

The front of the invitation features a layered bunch of orchids at the top and your invitation wording below it. The bride and grooms names are emphasized with the attractive purple colored script font.

The back of the invitation is a soft purple pattern. If you don’t like the background you can make it white or any other color you like. You can also add some text to the back if you want to.

Paper Choices for the Purple Orchid Wedding Invitations

The purple orchid wedding invitations above show the invitation printed on Matte stock. This paper is made in the USA. It has an eggshell texture and is soft to the touch but has a smooth finish. The paper weight is 120lb.

There are 12 paper types to choose from. The paper ranges from semi gloss and linen to Artisan Felt, Kraft and shimmer and metallic.

The image below is an example of how these invitations would look printed on Artisan Felt Ecru.

The Artisan Felt Ecru is cream in color. It is also environmentally friendly. Because the paper is cream in color you can see in the image below that using this paper changes the color of the design especially the background color on the back. This would be a good choice if you want to incorporate cream in you wedding theme and styling.

This paper type is likened to high quality watercolor paper. The Artisan paper also comes in White.

Invitation Pricing

The price of these invitations will vary depending on your choice of paper and trim. This price guide is for invitations on Matte paper with Rounded trim and Standard print.  The price is cheaper for Normal trim without the rounded corners. The prices may change at any time. Please check the suppliers website for the current prices. They often have sales and further discounts.

Purple Orchid Invitation Envelopes

For an additional cost you can order matching purple orchid envelopes. The envelopes are embellished with the same matching design and have orchids on the front. The inside of the envelopes has the same layered orchids design as on the front of the invitations. The back has 1 orchid flower and you can personalize it with your return mail address.

If you are happy to stick with the standard white envelopes that come with the invitations you may like to use personalized purple orchid stickers to seal your envelopes. These round stickers are 1.5 inches in diameter. They come in sheets of 20 stickers per sheet. You can fully personalize them with your names and wedding date. These stickers can also be used as quick and easy embellishments for favor bags.

 

Purple Orchid Invitation Insert Cards

Along with the invitations you may need a range of insert cards such as reply cards, information cards and wishing well cards. These purple orchid wedding invitations are part of a collection that has a full range of optional wedding stationery that you can also purchase to complete your needs and keep everything coordinated. All of these cards are also available in the same paper type as your invitation.

Purple Orchid Reply Cards

The reply cards are 3.5 x 5 inches in size. The front of the card has the orchid design on the top and the back of the card has the soft purple pattern like the wedding invitation. They come with a white envelope.

If you would like to add a reply address to your envelope you can purchase matching address labels separately that you can stick onto your envelopes.

You can also purchase matching postage stamps with your wedding date and names on them if you would like attach decorative postage to your reply card envelopes. It also makes it easier for your guests to return their reply cards to you without having to go and get their own stamp.

Purple Orchid Information Cards

You may also need to include an information card with your wedding invitations. These cards can be used for giving your wedding guests additional information that is not on your wedding invitation. You can use them for things like giving directions to ceremony and reception locations or to list accommodation venues for out of town guests.  These cards are the same size as the reply card which is 3.5 x 5 inches. All the text on the card can be personalized with your own.

Wishing Well Cards

These matching purple orchid wishing well cards can be used to let your guests know if you have organized a gift registry or when you would prefer a gift of money. The text can be changed to details of your gift registry or your own wishing well poem. Size is 3.5 x 5 inches.

These belly bands have a single purple orchid on the front as well as your names.

Envelopments

Another option for presenting your wedding invitations and stationery in a neat way is to place them in Envelopments. These come in a range of colors so you could go with white or choose a contrasting color that goes well with your wedding style. The invitation can be attached to the middle section and all the cards will go neatly in the pocket. There are 2 different layouts to choose from. If you do choose to buy these then you may like to change the rounded corners on the wedding invitations and stationery to square. These can be purchased as additional accessories.
